A 5.7 magnitude earthquake jolted the West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh along the India-China border.

The tremors from the earthquake were also felt in parts of Assam.

This comes after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal on Wednesday killing at least six people.
