The boy and girl cadets of Sainik School, Punglwa, Nagaland attended the Attestation Parade at the Assam Rifles Training Centre and School, Sukhovi on Saturday. The passing out parade is a milestone for the soldiers and also inspire young cadets to render service to the motherland, PRO (Defence) informed in a press release.

Post the parade, the cadets interact with Maj Gen Suresh Kumar Bhambhu, SM, IGAR (East), who was the Reviewing Officer of the parade. During this interaction, he urged the cadets to embrace the virtues of valour and zeal, inspiring them to pursue a future in the defence and paramilitary forces, the stalwart guardians of our nation’s sovereignty.

The PRO also stated that the interaction of the cadets with the General Officer ignited a fervent desire to follow in the footsteps of the distinguished personality. Such an opportunity to cadets helps to foster a spirit of patriotism and dedication that will undoubtedly shape the leaders of tomorrow, he added.
