In line with the Government’s vision of financial inclusion and citizen empowerment, the Finance Minister launched the nationwide campaign (Your Money, Your Right) on October 4, a three-month campaign (October – December 2025) seeks to enable citizens to trace and claim their unclaimed financial assets such as bank deposits, insurance proceeds, mutual funds, dividends and shares, etc.

In view of the above and to facilitate efficient and faster settlement of unclaimed funds to the beneficiaries and claimants, a camp was held on November 14 at DC’s conference hall, Kohima, Nagaland. The camp was attended by S Nekhini, General Manager, (O-I-C), RBI, Kohima; Rorheu Peseyie, SDO Civil, Kohima; K Samuel AGM, LDO, RBI, Kohima; Chitebuni Kricho, DDM, NABARD, Kohima and Temsumeren, Lead District Manager, Kohima.

Eight different banks viz. State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Central bank of India, IDBI, Federal bank, Axis bank, Nagaland rural bank and Nagaland state cooperative bank and LIC from insurance company participated during the camp.  From October 4 till date, 21 nos of accounts have been settled amounting to Rs.18,74,656 under Kohima district, Nagaland.
