The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) organized a candlelight service in memory of the late Innayachet Mollier, who served as the Social & Cultural Secretary of AKM, at the AKM Office in Mokokchung. The solemn event paid tribute to a dedicated and beloved figure whose untimely demise left a void in both the Ao community and the broader Naga society.
Lanutoshi Aier, President of AKM, led the proceedings and fondly reminisced about Lt. Innayachet Mollier. President Aier described him as a capable individual with a warm and loving personality, highlighting his invaluable contributions to AKM and various civil organizations since his college days. Mollier’s tragic passing on October 4 while en route from Dimapur to an official program in Kohima was deeply mourned, with his absence felt by all at AKM. Aier expressed his disbelief at the loss, given that they had spent seven months working together, and said that the late secretary’s influence extended beyond their organization.

President Aier reassured that despite this immense loss, the remaining members of AKM’s leadership were committed to continuing their mission, and he called for prayers and support for the team.
A moment of tribute was observed as attendees held candles in remembrance of Lt. Innayachet Mollier. Reverend Temsuwati Kichu, Associate Pastor of the Salangtem Fellowship, MTBA, shared words of solace and spiritual guidance.

The program was chaired by Onenpong, Vice President AKM, while S. Arenla Lkr, President Watsü Mungdang pronounced the invocation, and the event concluded with a mass prayer, uniting everyone in their shared grief and resolve to honor the memory of Lt. Mollier.The event was attended by members from AKM, AO Senden, Watsü Mungdang, students from the apex bodies of all the six ranges of Ao region and people from different walks of life.
