As decided by the All India State Government Employees Federation (AISGEF) during its National Conference which was held at Shirdi, Maharashtra from January 23 to 26, the Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association (CANSSEA) joined the National Strike on February 12.
A programme was organized at CANSSEA Central office where short speeches concerning Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme, revision of pay, restoration from NPS/ UPS to OPS, New Education Policy besides others were discussed.
CANSSEA had also earlier submitted an 8-point charter of demands to the Chief Secretary on February 6 last.

8-Point Charter of Demands
- Regularize all the Contractual Employees; Stop contractual/outsourced /Daily Waged employment. Fill up all the vacancies in the State Gove1nment Departments and PSU s on a regular basis.
- Repeal PFRDA Act; Scrap NPS/UPS. Direct the fund managers to return the amount deposited to the state governments. Bring all subscribers under EPS 95 to the Defined Benefit Pension System. Repeal Pension validation Act, 2025 and restore the rights of pensioners under OPS.
- Repeal all the 4(four) Labour Codes.
- Stop privatization/ corporatization of PSU’s and downsizing of govt. Depts.
- Review the terms of Reference of 81h CPC. Allow lOo/o of the basic pay subject to a minimum of as Rs 5000/- Interim Relief. Ensure periodical pay revision once in Five years.
- Implement a comprehensive Health/Insurance scheme with the govt. support ensuring cashless treatment in all hospitals to pensioners and employees including the contractual employees.
- Strengthen the Education and Public Health Depts. Abandon National Education Policy (NEP) and to withdraw the compulsory TET order to the Teachers.
- Repeat Art 310, 311 (2) (a) (b) ( c) of the constitution.
