The Annual College Fest of the Capital College of Higher Education, Kohima began under the theme “Trifecta” at Sahitya Sabha Hall, P.R. Hill, Kohima. with Vezuhu Keyho, Chairman, Governing Body, CCHE, as the Special Guest.

The inaugural session was chaired by Wangshimongla, Assistant Professor, Department of English, while Tatongkala L. Lohe, Dean of Student, CCHE, said a prayer.  The address of the fest was delivered by Vevohu Kezo, Vice Principal, CCHE.

On day 1 of the fest, events such as choral competition on college anthem, screening of snip shot and monologue, debate, extempore speech, poetry recitation, essay writing, photography, painting and translation were held.

In the debate competition, Thejoto Nienu, Journalist, Eastern Mirror, was the Moderator wherein, he also shared his insight on the debate topic, ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a Blessing or a Curse’. The three-day college fest which was commenced will continue till 5th October 2024.
