A career guidance seminar, organized under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative, was successfully conducted on Thursday in Kiphire. Organised by the District Administration in collaboration with the District Hub for Empowerment of Women, the event took place at the Seili Conference Hall, Kiphire, informed the DIPR.
The seminar featured distinguished resource persons -Tsoinchu Z A Sangtam, EAC; Major Abhishek Kumar Mishra, 14th Assam Rifles, Kiphire and Prathana Pawale, Consultant, NITI Aayog & Byju’s CSR Initiatives- who shared their insights and expertise to empower the youth of Kiphire.
The primary objective of the career guidance seminar was to provide clarity and guidance to the attendees in setting the right expectations for their respective careers. Throughout the seminar, the resource persons touched upon crucial topics including: Roadmap for Competitive Exams and understanding the path to success in competitive examinations.

The importance of effective time management in students’ lives, and the essence of setting and pursuing clear goals for achieving success were discussed. The resource persons also shared their personal experiences and remarkable achievements, inspiring the participants to aim high and reach for their dreams. “In today’s increasingly competitive global economy, making informed decisions about careers is paramount, especially with the rise of opportunities in overseas education,” added the DIPR report.
The seminar witnessed the active participation from students representing both private and government schools. It provided valuable guidance and insights to help shape their futures.
