A one-day career planning workshop under the theme “Clarity Creates Direction: Navigating Life with Informed Choices” was conducted at Shamator on September 8 as part of the Mission Sankalp Special Campaign held at Cultural Hall, Shamator.

The programme was organised by the district administration Shamator in collaboration with Seeds of Grace Trust and the Shamator Town Students’ Union (STSU).

Delivering the keynote address, SDO (Civil) Shamator, Athrong emphasized the importance of informed decision-making and urged the gathering students to prepare themselves with clarity and determination in their chosen career paths.

During the technical sessions, EAC Kudazo and Major Sumit from 32 Assam Rifles spoke on the topic “Your Pathway to Competitive Success” and “Defence Career Pathways” respectively while Malay Mishra spoke on “Resilience Skills & Entrepreneurship”.

A total of 200 students from three schools in Shamator (Classes 10–12) participated in the workshop.

Alongside the sessions, a free dental check-up camp was also conducted by the 32 Assam Rifles in collaboration with the district administration. Vote of thanks was delivered by EAC Mekato J Aye.
