Carl Rogers Institute of Mental Health and Research Center, Kohima holds panel discussion at Kohima Science College

The Carl Rogers Institute of Mental Health and Research Center, Kohima in collaboration with Kohima Science College conducted a Panel Discussion and counselling session with the BSc 4th semester students of KSC on April 20.

The session was held under the theme: ‘You deserve to know what you are going through’.

The Institute’s representatives, Kezhazolie Cornelius Mere (Co-founder and chairman) ,along with Anupam Talwar Kholi spoke on the importance of Mental Health. According to a press release issued by the Institute, the talk also involved various types of stresses such as acute stress, behavioral stress,  PTSD ,etc, and how this current Generation Z has been most affected by it.

Mere also emphasized on the importance of mental health on one’s overall wellbeing, and stressed on how ‘there is no Health without Mental Health’. The programme then proceeded on with a Q&A session with the students followed by breathing exercises and other activities.
