After winning the toss and electing to bat, North East Zone struggled to build momentum against a sharp Central Zone bowling attack.

Priyanka Kurmi (23 off 20) and D D Dutta (23 off 38) offered some resistance, but the team was eventually bowled out for 83 runs in 18 overs.
