The Centre for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS), Hyderabad is inviting applications for its innovation awards across the North Eastern States, Union Territories, and Hill States in field of Education, Environment, Health, Information Technology and Rural Development.

Cash prize is of Rs.1 lakh each will be presented to 20 winners, 4 in each category/focused area/discipline/field.

The awards are for Central/State Government officials, Civil Society Organisations, Individuals and Private Organisations.

The Centre for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS) is an Autonomous Centre of Administrative Staff College of India, Government of India, in Hyderabad, established in 2010, on the recommendations of the 13th Finance Commission, with the mandate of accelerating and diffusing innovations in public systems through sharing of experience  across states.

The mission of CIPS is to help create and nurture a climate for accelerating and diffusing innovations in public systems.

CIPS is dedicated to providing a platform for the emergence and cross-fertilization of innovative ideas by identifying, recognizing, promoting, and replicating innovations in public systems. It is therefore expected that by honouring best innovative practices, a hospitable environment will be created by scouting, sustaining, and spawning new innovations that would result in bringing positive changes in culture as well as structure of governance across states.
