CEO sets up Control Room for 28-Koridang bye-poll

The Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland has notified for general information that the Control room in connection with the Bye-Election to the Nagaland legislative Assembly from 28-Koridang Assembly Constituency has been activated.

All queries pertaining to election-related matters as well as complaints regarding violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), may be communicated through the helpline number 1950 (Toll Free No.) or by conducting the following number:

2nd randomization of EVMs and VVATs

The Second Randomization of EVMs and VVPATs is done by the Returning Officer to randomly allocate EVMS and VVPATs Polling Station-wise through EVM Management System (EMS) developed by Election Commission of India. Detailed instructions on Second Randomization of EVMs and VVPATs are mentioned in Manual on Electronic Voting Machine, which is available in ECI website: https://www.eci.gov.in/evm-vvpat.

The second randomization and Preparation of EVMs and VVPATs to be used in the Bye-election to 28-Koridang Assembly Constituency would be held on March 27 and 30 respectively.

These processes will be done in the presence of the contesting candidates/their representative.

The lists of EVMs and VVPATs allocated Polling Station-wise and reserve EVMs and VVPATs will be shared to all the contesting candidates. These EVMs and VVPATs only will be used in allocated Polling Stations on poll day
