Chang Wedoshi Setshang (CWS) has stated on the ongoing agitation called by NRMSATA 2016 batch stands legitimate rights as directed by the court, the Gauhati High Court Kohima Bench, on 16th March 2022 which was further upheld by the supreme court of India on 20th May 2025.
It is to be noted that the appointment of the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan RMSA teachers underwent with competitive exams process empowering the strict transparency. The failure on the part of the Government has not only deprived the teachers of their dues but send a discouragement message undermining their morale and dedication.
The conference has stated on nine GHS schools within Tuensang GHS Yangpi, GHS Ngoungchung, GHS Hakchang, GHS Sangsangnyu, GHS Chaba, GHS Hakushang, GHS Chingmelen, GHS Konya and GHS Phangsang are being deployed with RMSA teachers.

In this connection the negligence of the Government to address the genuine demand of the NRMSATA has impacted the quality education of the students, their academic growth and overall well-being of the ongoing students, it stated.
CWS appealed to the state Government to address the matter with utmost seriousness and urgency. The conference further emphasized that the tireless efforts, dedication and sacrifices of these teachers should be acknowledged and awarded, adding the court directive must be delivered without any delay.
