Chargers FC emerged as champions of the 3rd edition of the Mojabi Open Futsal Tournament, defeating Play Off Pursuit FC 4–2 in the final on January 24 to clinch the title for the second consecutive year.
The tournament was organised by the Kupza Kaketshir Telongjem (KKTM) and held from January 22 to 24, featuring several matches over the three days.
With the win, Chargers FC successfully defended their crown, having also won the previous edition of the tournament, and were awarded a cash prize of ₹40,000, while runners-up Play Off Pursuit FC walked away with ₹25,000.
The road to the final saw Chargers FC dominate Kiko FC 4–1 in the second semi-final, while Play Off Pursuit FC stormed into the final with a convincing 6–1 victory over Artang Youth Association in the first semi-final.

The closing programme featured Imojungla, proprietor of the Ozumi Volleyball Team, as the special invitee for the finale. Addressing the gathering, she encouraged young people and sports enthusiasts to pursue their talents not only in academics but also in music and sports. She further challenged parents to actively support and encourage their children to take up sports as a serious pursuit.
Individual honours were also presented at the closing ceremony. Imkongtemsu of Chargers FC was adjudged Best Goalkeeper, Abu of Play Off Pursuit FC won the Highest Scorer award, while Nisede of Play Off Pursuit FC was named Player of the Tournament.
