In a significant move to boost local healthcare services, a state-of-the-art surgical laparoscopic set with trolley and an advanced ultrasound machine was inaugurated at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Mangkolemba, Mokokchung on June 27. The equipment was donated by the Luyong Tribal Welfare Society.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Minister for Transport and Technical Education, Temjenmenba, alongside local dignitaries, healthcare professionals, and community members, including the ADC of Mangkolemba, Moakumzuk Tzudir.

The Minister emphasized on the importance of collaborative initiatives between government authorities and community-based organizations in improving public health infrastructure.
With the installation of this equipment, CHC Mangkolemba is expected to see significant improvements in its diagnostic and surgical capabilities, contributing to better patient care and outcomes.
The initiative can be seen as a meaningful step forward for the healthcare sector in the sub-division, and also showcased the shared commitment to enhancing medical services in the area.
