Checking of fuel outlets conducted in Dimapur under NCAP

Dimapur: inspection done for adulteration, fuel quality, quantity check and fire safety measures in place

Joint Verification of fuel outlets was conducted at Dimapur under National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) on 20th July 2024. DIPR informed that the inspection was carried out by two teams led by district administration and consisting of officials from Fire & Emergency, Police, Food & Civil Supply, Legal & Metrology, Chief Medical Officer and Nagaland Pollution Control Board inspected fuel outlets in Dimapur District checking for adulteration, fuel quality, quantity check and fire safety measures in place.

The inspection is part of action plan under the National Clean Air Programme which aims to enhance the air quality especially in non- attainment cities by reducing the particulate matter by 40 % by 2024.

The joint inspection team also checked for provision of basic amenities such as drinking water, free air and separate toilets for male and female and facility such as installation of CCTV.
