The Town Hall, Dimapur came alive on the evening of October 18, as Musik-A successfully staged one of its most ambitious productions yet — Annie, a broadway-style musical performed by over 250 talented students, primarily aged between 3 to 12 years.

Hosted by the ever-charismatic Valiant Khieya, the evening began with an invocation by Rev Dr N Lipok Jamir, Pastor of Diphupar Ao Baptist Church, followed by a soulful rendition of the National Anthem performed by the young students.

Alobo Naga, Director of Creative Vision at Musik-A, delivered the welcome note, sharing insights into the months of preparation that began in May 2025. He also explained the vision behind choosing to stage a Broadway musical this year, marking a new creative chapter for the school.

The musical was directed by the award-winning director, Bendang Walling, along with an assistant. Director Bubu Sechü, who beautifully brought to life the beloved story of Annie — the tale of a courageous young orphan in 1930s New York City, whose hope and optimism lead her from hardship to a loving home with billionaire Oliver Warbucks. The production celebrated themes of resilience, love, and the enduring belief that “the sun will come out tomorrow.”
