Chozuba Town Gears Up for Independence Day with Mass Social Work

Chozuba: Collective Efforts for a Clean and Beautiful Celebration

In preparation for the 77th Independence Day celebration, Chozuba town has organized a mass social work event, set to take place on August 11, 2023. The town is wholeheartedly embracing a comprehensive cleaning and beautification drive to mark this significant occasion.

The area from the PWD office junction to the BSF camp and the ADC office/residential area (Rikhu/Dzuluba ward) will be supervised by the ADC office, CDPO, SDO, Soil and Water Conservation, JE Housing, and the 5th NAP (Chozuba). Other areas such as the BSF gate to Y junction (Muzaboka ward), Y junction towards the Police Station, Y junction to Zero point (Chozu/Thozhe ward), Zero Point to the Catholic Church (Phakuzho & Zasemuru ward), Zero point to NST (Nyohokharu and Khutsazho ward), and Yoruba gate to PWD junction (Thujiba-Timeba ward) will each have designated responsible parties overseeing their respective clean-up operations.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Imokokla, has directed residents of the concerned wards to actively participate in their designated areas. The mass social work is scheduled to commence at 7:00 AM, and DBs and GBs have been instructed to ensure wide publicity within their designated areas.
