The Chümoukedima District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of November was held on Friday at the DC Conference Hall, a DIPR report said. The meeting was chaired by Advisor for Urban & Municipal Affairs, Zhaleo Rio, with Vice Chairman DC Abhinav Shivam, IAS, in attendance.
According to DIPR, the key highlights and discussions during the meeting included:
Deliberation on shortage of Grade-IV Staff in SDEO office, Medziphema, upgradation of GMS, Kukidolong Village, registration of Emerald School, Ward 7, Chümoukedima, registration of Tribal Common Society, Thilixu Village, registration of Chümoukedima Plywood Veneer industry and Transport Trade Association, registration of Two-Wheeler Association, Chümoukedima, and removal of the road divider in front of Unity Village.
The Board approved the registration of the Tribal Common Society, Thilixu Village, and the other agendas were deferred for proposal in the next DPDB meeting pending a thorough report.
District Project Associate, District Disaster Management Agency (DDMA), Berela, delivered a comprehensive presentation, highlighting the activities and achievements of DDMA Chümoukedima for the year 2022-2023.
