Nineteen years old Neiketuno Sechü, was crowned Miss Nagaland 2023 on Friday evening here at Cultural Hall, Kohima organised by Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN).
Twenty years old Vimgha Sheqi was declared the 1st runner up and nineteen years old Ilihika Aye was declared as the 2nd runner up.
Miss Nagaland Neiketuno Sechü is also the reigning Miss Chümoukedima 2023. Hailing from Rüzaphema, Sechü is currently in her first year at the Northeast Institute of Social science and research. “I feel amazing to be crowned Miss Nagaland, it is overwhelming,” said the newly crowned beauty queen. Under beauty with a purpose project, Sechü said she will use this platform to encourage young boys and girls focusing on mental health awareness among the youths. Sechü will also be getting direct entry to Miss Northeast 2024 which will be held in Arunachal Pradesh.
Miss Nagaland walked away with a cash prize of one lakh along with gift hampers worth Rs 1.2 lakh, citations and a direct entry to Miss Grand India. The first runner-up received a cash prize of Rs. 70,000 along with gift hampers and a direct entry to Miss Northeast 2024 while, the second runner-up received Rs.50,000 along with gift hampers.

Other subtitle winners included Miss Perfect Ten (Neiketuno Sechü), Miss Multi Media (Vimgha Sheqi), Miss Beautiful Skin (Keziah Mero), Miss Beautiful Smile (Tsiawavi Nyuwi), Miss Talent (Flora Kent), Miss Photogenic (Ilihika Aye) and Queen of Hearts (Katienla P Longchar).
The 32nd edition of Miss Nagaland 2023 was organised by the Beauty and Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN) in collaboration with Atomy India and Antodya Skills Foundation as the title sponsor. Altogether, 14 contestants from various districts in the State participated in the pageant.
