Civil Services coaching sponsorship programme launched for Wokha constituency

A total of 23 selected candidates from the 38-Wokha Assembly Constituency are set to commence their Civil Services coaching classes at Focus Academy on April 23 under the Civil Services Coaching Sponsorship Programme launched by MLA Y. Mhonbemo Humtsoe. This initiative, aimed at supporting aspirants from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, is designed to provide guidance and resources for students aspiring to join the prestigious civil services.

The official launch of the programme took place at the residence of MLA Y. Mhonbemo Humtsoe, where a special gathering was held in the presence of candidates, their families, and mentors. Rev. O. Thungben Kikon, Pastor of Wokha Village Baptist Church, led the event with a prayer of blessing, offering words of encouragement and motivation to the aspiring candidates.

In his address, MLA Humtsoe expressed his confidence in the students, urging them to stay dedicated and consistent in their efforts. He reminded them to uphold the value of the scholarship by remaining sincere in their pursuit of academic excellence and to always place their faith in God. “With hard work and perseverance, I am certain you will all reach your goals,” he said, emphasising the importance of never giving up.

The MLA further stated that the coaching programme is not only about academic preparation but also about empowering the youth, building their confidence, and shaping future leaders from the region. He extended his heartfelt thanks to the proprietor of Focus Academy for partnering in this noble cause and providing a platform of excellence and guidance for the aspirants.
