A 19 year-old student of Unity Christian Higher Secondary School (UCHSS), Diphupar, identified as Pusha T, has been reported missing since May 24. The teenager, who recently relocated to Dimapur from Assam, was last seen leaving his residence around 1:00 p.m. that day.
Speaking to the press on May 28, the boy’s father, M. Tunyu Khiamniungan, stated that Pusha received a phone call from a friend shortly before he left home. He departed on a red Platina scooty, dressed in a white t-shirt and black half-pants. The identity of the caller remains unknown.
An FIR was filed at Diphupar Police Station on May 26 after Pusha failed to return. Police have since launched an investigation and are actively pursuing all leads in the case.

According to the father, Pusha had moved to Dimapur only two months ago and was previously studying in Assam. On the day he went missing, he had spoken casually with some friends from Assam, but none have been found to be involved, based on school records and police inquiries.
His father said that this Is the first time something like this has happened, who ruled out the possibility of kidnapping, noting that no ransom demands have been made. He also confirmed there were no signs of distress or conflict before his son left home.

Meanwhile, President Khiamniungan Union Dimapur (KUD) Kamthong, confirmed that the union has been actively assisting in the search since the day of Pusha’s disappearance. He too appealed to the public to report any relevant information to the nearest police station, KUD members, or the family.
