Speaking to the press during the demolition drive, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, DC Wokha requested the public to abstain from encroaching upon compensated areas due to limited space available for further development. Encroachment on National Highways poses a hindrance to planned public development initiatives, stated Ranjan.
The DC assured that the administration will diligently clear all compensated areas along NH2 for the Right of Way (ROW), ensuring no hindrance during the construction work while providing ample free space for public use and other developmental activities.
