Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has called on Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti, Dr. Raj Bhushan Choudhary in New Delhi on Saturday.

Announcing it on X, the Chief Minister said that during the meeting, he apprised the Union Minister on water management related concerns. “I thank him for his understanding & support, & look forward to the implementation of project for the welfare of the people of Nagaland,” he added.

Dr Choudhary also said on X that several schemes related to Nagaland were discussed during the meeting with Rio.

Earlier on 9th August 2024, Rio called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and apprised him about the major projects and initiatives for the development of the State.
