Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio expressed confident of People’s Democratic Alliance candidate Dr Chumben Murry winning the Lok Sabha seat with a comfortable margin.
Speaking to a section of reporters on the sideline of the Lok Sabha campaign today here at Wokha, he said, “By the grace of God if we look at things it is very positive and I believe we will win by comfortable margin.”
With regard to the ENPO issue, Rio asserted that the state government have and is still appealing to ENPO, “even today we have appealed in our campaign. So, I hope they will take it seriously,” he added.
Meanwhile, PDA candidate Dr Chumben Murry sharing his views on the ENPO’s resolute stand said that ENPO is not right in not participating in the election since election is for the benefit of the people.
“My appeal to them is that there is still time let them decide to come and participate,” said Murry.
On query whether the non participation of ENPO will have any negative impact, Murry said he is still supported by 40 other legislators and he sees no problem if ENPO does not participate.
