Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio inaugurated the 3rd North East Games 2024 Games Fest and Games Village on Friday, Nagaland Olympic Association has informed. During the visit, CM, along with the Council of Ministers and Advisors, also inspected the Games Headquarters of the North East Games 2024, overseeing preparations and ensuring impeccable standards.
Rio extended heartfelt appreciation to all participating athletes, officials, volunteers, and organizers for their tireless dedication and unwavering support in ensuring the success of the 3rd North East Games.
Pastor Visasier Kevichüsa from Kingdom Culture Church, Dimapur, prayed at the inauguration ceremony seeking blessings for the success and prosperity of the forthcoming sporting event which is scheduled to commence from 18th March and conclude on 23rd March 2024.
In a press release, NOA said that the inauguration of the Games Fest and the Games Village stands as a testament to Nagaland’s unwavering commitment to excellence in hosting major sporting events. With state-of-the-art facilities and meticulous attention to detail, the Games Village exemplifies Nagaland’s dedication to providing a world-class experience for athletes and visitors alike, it added.
