Following the announcement of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil service exams (CSE) 2023 final results where four Nagas cleared the exams, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio took social media platform X, to congratulate them.
The final results were declared yesterday where a total number of 1,016 candidates has been recommended for appointment.
The Naga candidates who cleared the UPSC CSE 2023 are: Tolino Chishi ranked AIR 431, Alemyin Isaac ranked AIR 749, Imsurenla Longkumer ranked AIR 774 and Chubalemba B. Chang ranked AIR 915.
“Proud moment for Nagaland as 4 aspirants from the State have cleared the prestigious #UPSC2023. Congratulations, Ms. Tolino Chishi-AIR 431, Ms. Alemyim Isaac-AIR 749, Ms. Imsurenla Longkumer-AIR 774 & Mr. Chubalemba B Chang-AIR 915. I wish you success in the service of the nation,” tweeted Rio.

Deputy CM Y. Patton also congratulated the candidates through X. “Congratulations to Nagaland’s brilliant #UPSC achievers—Ms. Tolino Chishi (AIR 431), Ms. Alemyim Isaac (AIR 749), Ms. Imsurenla Longkumer (AIR 774), and Mr. Chubalemba B. Chang (AIR 915)! They have not only achieved personal milestones but have also made us all and our state proud. As they embark on this exciting journey of public service, may they continue to be guided by the values of dedication and integrity,” mentioned Patton.
In a press statement, Benjamin Yepthomi, BJP Nagaland President extended appreciation to the four candidates.
“I am proud of your exceptional achievement that jas brought much laurels to the State of Nagaland. The feat you have achieved has truly inspired our young minds to stay focused in their pursuit of excellence,” stated Yepthomi.
