The Congress Party has appointed Gaurav Gogoi as the Deputy Leader in Lok Sabha, General Secretary (Organisation), KC Venugopal informed today.

It was also announced that Kodikkunnil Suresh will continue as the party’s chief whip while Manickam Tagore B and Dr Md Jawaid have been appointed as the party’s whips

In a post on X, Venugopal said that Congress’ parliamentary party President, Sonia Gandhi, has written to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla informing him about the appointments.
