The Congress Party Ticket Dedication program for Bendanginla from Majakong Ward (Ward no. 9) was held today at the candidate’s residence near the Majakong Community Hall.
In her address, Bendanginla stated that since the announcement of the ULB election for 2023, and when her Ward “Majakong” was designated under Women Reservation, she had planned to contest the election, either through reservation or general category. She noted that this year’s ULB election announcement had no reservation for women in her ward. Nevertheless, she expressed her determination to contest the election alongside her fellow male contenders in the general category. She pledged to dedicate her service to the people of Majakong, envisioning a better future for developmental activities and the upliftment of her Ward’s maintenance.
She declared, “I love my Majakong Ward people. For 42 years, I have been a resident of Majakong Ward. Throughout these years, many general elections have taken place, but today I stand here to declare that I am contesting this election not for myself, nor for my family, but for the people of our ward. She pledged to work together in unity.”
Bendanginla is ready to contest the upcoming ULB election 2024 from Majakong Ward, an unreserved ward for women.
