The National President of the National People’s Party (NPP) and Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K. Sangma, accompanied by National General Secretary Paknga Bage, National Secretary Saidul Hussain, and National Youth President Nicky Lyngdoh, held a series of consultative and interactive meetings with NPP Nagaland leaders and representatives at the conference hall of Naithu Resort, Dimapur.

The visit marked a significant step towards strengthening coordination between the national leadership and the Nagaland State Unit of the party. Sangma engaged with various organizational levels and frontal wings to review the party’s progress and discuss strategies for further growth in the State.

The meetings commenced with the Leader of the Party (LoP) in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Nuklutoshi Longkumer, and NPP MLAs of the State, followed by a session with the State Office Bearers led by State President A. Nyamnyei Konyak. The discussions focused on key organizational and structural matters.

Sangma also interacted with NPP Councilors from Dimapur and Kohima, and later met with the State Frontal Wings — including the NPP Women’s Front (NPWF), NPP Youth Front (NPYF), and NPP Minority Front (NPMF).

During the meetings, various State Units and organizational wings presented representations highlighting important issues and recommendations to strengthen the party’s framework from the State level down to the district and grassroots levels.
