Principal Secretary & Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha, IAS has informed that along with the rest of the country, Nagaland would also be celebrating the Constitution Day on November 26 to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India, coinciding with the culmination of year-long celebrations themed as “Hamara Samvidhan – Hamara Swabhiman”.

All the AHoDs have been requested to give instructions for organizing programme in the Directorates and all the District offices of the Departments on November 26 to celebrate the Constitution Day in which the Preamble to the Constitution would be read out.

He has also instructed to upload the videos of the Mass preamble readings on the website www.constitution75.com.

A report of action taken may be submitted by all HoDs to Home Department positively, he stated.
