To create awareness and information on the Model Code of Conduct to the representative of Tening Town in connection with the upcoming ULB election, a coordination meeting was held at old Tening Town hall, Peren on June 12.

According to DIPR, DC & RO, Tening Lemlila Sangtam briefed the members on how to maintain law & order responsibly during the election and to strictly adhere to the Model Code of Conduct. She also requested all the intending candidates to contest the elections honourably and peacefully.

In regard to Voters Information Slips, Sangtam informed that disbursement of the slips will be announce on right time.

The meeting was attended by various political parties, representative from Tening village council, all Ward GBs and intending candidates from all the 9 Wards of Tening Town.
