In view of the upcoming General Election of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election, a coordination meeting was held today at the ADC Office in Pughoboto.

According to a DIPR report, the meeting was attended by the vice chairmen Adhoc Town Council, Village Council chairmen, Head GB, GBs, DBs, E S SABAK, E S NCRC, Rev Fr Parish Priest President, President SAKK, and representatives from Totimi Hoho.

ADC & District Election officer NCS, Tiameren Chang, briefed on the rules and regulations and urged all citizens under the Pughoboto sub-division to cooperate with the government officials and security force for the successful conduct of the coming General Election 2023.

SDPO Pughoboto Hankiumong, NPS, informed that six companies of the paramilitary will be stationed in Pughoboto for the smooth conduct of the election. He also highlighted the importance of law and order within the Pughoboto Assembly Constituency.

SDO (C) and returning officer Pughoboto, R Daniel Angami, spoke on the requisition of vehicles and informed the public to deposit arms to the respective authority as per the order.
