A three day long Golden Jubilee celebration of Council of Chakhesang Christian Revival Churches (CCCRC) commenced today under the theme “Great is Thy Faithfulness” at CCCRC Mission Centre, Chetheba in Phek district.

Marking the commencement of the glorious celebration, CCCRC executive secretary Rev. Z. David Koza dedicated the golden jubilee monolith at the venue. CCCRC vice chairman Pulo Koza led the dedication service while CCCRC field evangelist Mületo Nienu blew the jubilee trumpet.

CCCRC chairman Rev. Zaseyi Veswüh dedicated the jubilee memorial park while Mission Centre Gate was dedicated by CCCRC Ordination Board chairman Rev. Zhowhüyi Nyekha. It was followed by consecration of tabernacle at Multi-Purpose Hall Thenyizu. It was led by Rev. Sanyi Nyekha, senior pastor Chesezu CRC.

Earlier, the memorial stone of the first revival movement (1958) at Khulazu Basa among Chakhesang tribe was unveiled by Rev. Zhowhüyi Nyekha in commemoration of CCCRC Golden Jubilee.

Also, the memorial stone of first prayer centre (1963) among NCRC was laid at Chesezu Nasa by Rev. Buliechü Koza, senior pastor Sodzülhou CRC in commemoration of the Council of Chakhesang Christian Revival Churches jubilee.

Later, the evening worship service took place at Multi Purpose Hall Thenyizu wherein Rev. Dr. Vevozo Khamo, vice president Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC) addressed the large congregation who informed said that there were presently 35 revival churches and 2 fellowships under CCCRC.

Rev. Khamo said that jubilee is a time for reconciliation and a time to forgive and forget the past misdeeds. He stressed on the need to preach the gospel, do missionary works, preach to the poor and heal the broken hearted and restoring vision to the blind.

Delivering welcome address, Golden Jubilee Organizing Committee Chairman Kühusayi Nyekha said that jubilee is a time of retrospection and remembering the pioneers and those who did amazing things for the Lord.

The evening service was led by Sapi Puro, Pastor, CRC Chikri Nasa Colony, Pfutsero. Jubilee greeting was shared by Rev. Dr. Kecha Seyie, Chairman, Angami Christian Revival Churches Council.

The service witnessed special songs from Phek Area CRC Association and Chozuba Area CRC Association.

Meanwhile, the morning worship service on September 9 will take place from 10:00 AM where NCRC Mission Secretary Rev. Dr. Imchayanger will be the speaker.

Pastor Victor Ogbe, Christ Embassy Church, Nigeria will be the speaker at the evening worship service at 4:30 PM.

The celebration will continue till 10th September 2023.
