A Covid-19 positive case has been detected in Dimapur on Monday, state health department informed.

“The patient is mildly symptomatic and presently in home isolation and monitored,” stated a press release from the directorate of Health and Family Welfare.

The currently circulating variants of Covid-19 are stated to be mild, causing illness with fever, cough, sore throat, which, according to the department, usually subsides on its own.

Further, the public have been advised not to panic, but follow Covid-19 appropriate behaviours.
