The Central Silk Board (CSB), under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, conducted a three-day residential training programme on Muga Grainage Technology for officials of the Department of Sericulture, Nagaland. Held from July 7 to 9 at the CSB unit in Kobulong, the training aimed to improve technical capacity in quality Muga seed production.

Dr. Ravi Kumara, Scientist at the Central Silk Board stated that the training was designed to enhance seed management practices, which are critical for increasing Muga silk productivity and ensuring the sustainability of traditional sericulture in the region.
