CSU senior consultative meeting held in Kohima

The Chakhesang Students Union (CSU) convened a significant Senior Consultative Meeting on March 23 at the Red Cross building, bringing together the executives council, esteemed ex-presidents, ex-executives, and senior members of the Chakhesang community. The meeting aimed to foster unity, collaboration, and empowerment among members, reaffirming the CSU’s commitment to addressing pertinent issues and charting a collective path forward, informed a press release issued by CSU.

Led by President Pfhülo Sara and General secretary Kuzoto swuro of the CSU, the gathering provided a platform for constructive dialogue and exchange of ideas on various socio-cultural, educational, and developmental concerns. Discussions centered on enhancing educational opportunities, improving infrastructure, preserving cultural heritage, and empowering Chakhesang youth and students. The members shared invaluable insights, contributing to the formulation of strategic initiatives aimed at advancing the community’s socio-economic and educational aspirations.

President of the Chakhesang Students Union, highlighted the importance of such consultative meetings in ensuring the holistic development and well-being of the community. “Our seniors possess invaluable wisdom and experience, which are crucial in guiding and shaping the future of Chakhesang students. This meeting serves as a testament to our commitment to inclusivity and collective action,” stated the President.

As the deliberations concluded, participants expressed optimism and renewed determination to work towards unity, progress, and empowerment.
