CTAN and NNQF call off agitation following Minister’s verbal assurance to revoke regularisation order

The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) and Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF) has called off its proposed agitation on April 25 following the verbal assurance provided by the Minister of Higher Education Temjen Imna Along.

In a press release issued this evening, the CTAN and NNQF informed that its representatives held a meeting with the Minister of Higher Education Department as per the invitation received.

“After thorough deliberation, the Minister gave a verbal assurance that our demand for revocation will be made and the cabinet order to absorb the 147 Assistant professors/Librarians will be revoked. He also assured that the file would be put up by 25th April, 2025 in the early hours,” stated the press release.

In this regard, the CTAN and NNQF called off the agitation proposed on April 25. Further, it also expressed its commitment to continue to look into the interest of the aspirants in Nagaland.

“We would like to thank all the Unions/Association/Organisations/Individuals and well-wishers who have rendered their support in our battle against corruption,” it expressed.
