The Combined Technical Association Nagaland (CTAN) and the Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF), has warned of further escalation of agitation if the formal written copies of the revocation order and the committee dissolution are not received by Monday afternoon, April 28.
In a press statement issued on April 26, the two organisations mentioned that upon the invitation of the Higher Education Minister, a meeting was held at his residence on April 26, at 9:30 AM. The following points were agreed upon during the meeting:
- Cabinet order for absorption/regularization of 147 posts of Assistant Professors and Librarian. Dated 17 December, 2024, to be revoked.
- The committee formed at the emergency cabinet meeting on 21 April, 2025 to be dissolved

“CTAN and NNQF further asserts that if the formal written copies of the revocation order and the committee dissolution documents, as assured by the Minister, are not received by Monday afternoon (28th April 2025), the ongoing agitation will be escalated beyond the level of the previous four days,” it stated.
An official press conference will be held on Monday, 28 April by CTAN and NNQF after the formal documents are released.
