The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) and Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF) has informed that it will be holding a Public Dialogue on the issue of requisition for the 147 Assistant Professors and Librarians posts, Open Competition, Fair Recruitment Process and Transparency.

The Public Dialogue will be held at the Angami Women Organization Hall, opposite to Congress Bhavan, Kohima, on June 7 at 11 am.

“Given the lapse of the deadline and the silence of the Government on the issue of requisition, the CTAN and NNQF through the Public dialogue intends to create a platform for discussion,” stated the CTAN and NNQF in a press release issued on May 28.

The Public discussion is aimed at bringing in varied perspectives with regard to the requisition debate while also raising public awareness and identifying probable solutions.

“The Public Dialogue goes beyond the issue of requisition as it will discuss related concerns of fair recruitment process, open competition, and transparency in the Common Educational Services Examination. Therefore, it is pertinent that the stakeholders and the public are made aware of it and have a say in their fundamental right to equal opportunity,” it asserted.

As a display of peaceful and democratic assertion of rights, the CTAN and NNQF has invited all concerned citizens and the responsible authority to join them in the Public Dialogue to help shape a better future for Nagaland.
