The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) in a press statement today stated that the current leadership in Nagaland has regrettably failed to acknowledge and address the genuine challenges faced by the people of Nagaland, particularly the youth.
“Our youth yearn for inspiration to embrace and foster a just, dignified system of governance within our State,” stated the statement issued by S. Supongmeren Jamir President, NPCC.
In this regard, the NPCC viewed that the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra stands as a momentous movement, and the Committee expressed anticipation of enthusiastic participation of conscientious citizens who fervently advocate for equitable economic, social. Religious, and political rights that will pave the way for a promising and sustainable future.
“Such a pursuit can only be achieved when individuals entrusted with the responsibility to inspire others strictly adhere to the principles instilled by the divine creator – principles rooted in truthfulness, courage to do right and unwavering accountability,” stated the NPCC.
Only by embodying these qualities, stated the NPCC, can we construct a stable and righteous foundation tor the progress of our dynamic society.
The Committee further flayed the current government for its negligence towards addressing the pressing . matter Of the Naga Political Solution. “It appears as though the government has conveniently forgotten the promises it made to the electorate during the elections. While the leadership may assume that the people are oblivious to these promises, the reality of the issues faced by the citizens paints a contrasting picture. It is high time that the government refrains from toying with the sacred sentiments of the Naga people. Instead, they ought to exhibit the courage and conviction necessary to deliver a clear and acceptable solution to the intricate Naga political issue,” asserted the NPCC.

The time for action is now, and the government must rise to the occasion to fulfill its obligations towards the Naga people, as it has solemnly promised to do so,” stated the NPCC.
