Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Peren, Vineet Kumar, IAS conducted a meeting with various Nodal Officers who were assigned with various tasks for the upcoming electioneering process on Tuesday. In the meeting, the DC & DEO stressed on the on-going preparation plans and strategies from the various Nodal Officers for the successful conduct of the upcoming Election.

Kumar also reviewed other preparation plans including that of manpower status, transport plans, training management, Postal Ballot management, EVMs management, Media management, etc.

With the announcement of election by the ECI, the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has been implemented throughout Peren District. In this regard, the DC & DEO directed all Government Officials, Political parties, contesting candidates are required to strictly adhere to the Model Code of Conduct issued by the Election Commission of India. Any violation will be dealt with according to the relevant laws and regulations.
