Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Tuensang, Nokchasashi, published electoral rolls for all the polling stations of the four Assembly Constituencies under Tuensang district today at DC’s Conference Hall (Circuit house), Tuensang.
During the programme, the DC requested all the political parties to look forward to a clean and fair election. He urged the stakeholders to take responsibility during the SVEEP activities and sought cooperation and support for the successful conduct of the forthcoming election.
He also requested all the political parties to appoint Booth Level Agents to those who are yet to be appointed.
Furthermore, the DC notified for public information that the list of amendments to the draft electoral roll for the 51-Noksen, 52-Longkhim-Chare, 53-Tuensang Sadar-I, and 54-Tuensang Sadar-II Assembly Constituencies has been prepared with reference to 1 January 2023 as the qualifying date and in accordance with the Registration of Electoral Rules, 1960.
A copy of the said roll together with the list of amendments has been published and is available for inspection at his office.
The representatives from different political parties attended the meeting and a copy each was given to all the parties.
