In view of the ensuing General Election to the Lok Sabha 2024 and to ensure free and fair elections in Longleng district, all Arms License holders in the District are hereby directed to verify their licenses and deposit their arms to the nearest police station with immediate effect.

Any license holder who fails to report shall be liable for prosecution under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code along with cancellation of Arms License. The verification of Licences and deposition of Arms/Weapons should be completed by 5:00 PM on March 30.
