Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire has issued an order prohibiting/restraining unauthorised new construction and development activities being carried out in Pungro Town and along the stretch leading to Luthur-Salomi village within the proposed alignment/ROW of the BRO Road Project which is likely to hamper the ongoing and forthcoming assessment and survey exercises.

Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire has hereby reiterated that no assessment, compensation or claim of any kind shall be entertained for any construction or development undertaken recently.

Further, all the village council and ward authorities within the proposed alignment/ROW of the BRO Road Project have been directed to strictly enforce this directive in order to avoid any unnecessary legal and administrative action against defaulters.
