Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has issued a notification order in accordance with the letter from 13th Assam Rifles informing all concerned villages, Ward Panchayats, and Colonies under Kohima Town that the 13th Assam Rifles will be conducting a small arms firing exercise at the Firing Range, Kohima Garrison, from 1st September 2024 to 30th September, 2024.

Therefore, all residents are strictly advised to avoid entering the Firing Range area during this period. Further, cattle grazing near the firing area are also prohibited duration the exercise.
