Deputy Commissioner, Kohima B Henok Buchem, NCS has issued an order in continuation of the previous order dated 7th of July, 2025, stating that in view of occurrence of multiple landslides along the National Highway-29 at Chainages: KM 175.100 & KM 175.350 (near old KMC dumping site), the movement of heavy vehicles along the affected stretch shall be restricted till further orders.

Hence, all the heavy vehicles {6 (six) wheelers only, as per earlier order} would be routed through Peducha Bridge – Tsiesema (10 Mile) road with immediate effect.

Meanwhile, the LMVs bound for other districts have been advised to take the same route: Peducha Bridge – Tsiesema (10 Mile).
