DC Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant has issued a circular in view of counting of votes for the election to Kohima Municipal Council which is scheduled to be held on June 29 from 08:00 AM onwards at the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima.

All concerned candidates and the general public have been informed that restriction will be imposed for entry of vehicles from Y-Junction to office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima and movement of general public from Congress Bhavan junction towards DC office respectively.

In this regard, one vehicle per candidate will be permitted till the gate of office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima for dropping/pick up purpose only and may be parked in the Multi-Level Car Parking facility after that or any other parking facility.

The general public have been requested to bear with the inconvenience and extend cooperation in the interest of smooth counting process.
