The Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, issued a travel advisory for travellers taking the route along the Changtongya-Longleng Road.

All vehicular movements will be restricted from 9pm to 6am from 25-30 October 2022.

The restrictions have been put in view of “blasting works for the construction of Two-Lane Road with hard shoulders portion of Changtongya-Longleng Road from existing Km 0.0 to Km 16.592.”
