The Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS has said that it has been noticed that some Head of Departments/Offices/Institutions are proceeding on leave without prior information and approval from the competent authority, hampering the normal functioning of the Office and prompting indiscipline amongst other officials.

Further, the DC also stated that some government offices in the district are not functioning/opening during scheduled office hours causing inconveniences to the general public and adversely affecting the work culture in government offices.

Therefore, all Head of Departments/offices/Institutions have been directed to be in station and ensure the proper functioning of the offices during scheduled office hours. Failing which disciplinary action shall be initiated as per the relevant provisions of the law, the Notification stated.
